Vanguard® B Vaccines

Zoetis offers several formulations of the Vanguard® B vaccine to cater to different administration preferences and patient needs:

Vanguard® B Oral: An avirulent live culture vaccine administered orally, suitable for dogs that may be apprehensive about injections or intranasal applications.
Vanguard® B Intranasal: An avirulent live culture vaccine administered intranasally, providing rapid onset of immunity by directly stimulating the mucosal immune system.
Vanguard® Rapid Resp 3: A combination vaccine administered intranasally, protecting against canine adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, and Bordetella bronchiseptica.

Indications	These vaccines are indicated for the active immunization of healthy dogs against Bordetella bronchiseptica, aiding in the prevention of kennel cough. They are particularly recommended for dogs at increased risk due to exposure in environments such as boarding facilities, dog parks, grooming salons, or training classes.
Contraindications	-Do not vaccinate dogs that are ill, immunocompromised, or have a history of allergic reactions to vaccine components. -Avoid vaccination in pregnant bitches unless the vaccine is specifically approved for such use. -Do not administer to puppies younger than the minimum age specified for each vaccine.
Dosage	-Vanguard® B Oral: Administer a single 1 mL dose orally to healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older. -Vanguard® B Intranasal: Administer a single 0.5 mL dose intranasally to healthy dogs 3 weeks of age or older. -Vanguard® Rapid Resp 3: Administer a single 1 mL dose intranasally to healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older.
Storage	-Store at 2°–8°C (35°–46°F). Do not freeze. -Protect from light. -Use the entire contents immediately after reconstitution. -Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the label.
