Milpro® is a palatable tablet containing milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, designed to treat and control a wide range of intestinal worms in dogs and cats, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms.
Milpro® combines two active ingredients:
The tablets are meat-flavored and film-coated to enhance palatability, facilitating easier administration to pets. They are available in different strengths and sizes to accommodate various weight ranges of dogs and cats.
| Indications | Dogs: Treatment of mixed infections by adult cestodes and nematodes, including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp., Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, and Crenosoma vulpis. Also indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated. Cats: Treatment of mixed infections by adult cestodes and nematodes, including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, and Toxocara cati. Also indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated. |

| Contraindications | Do not use in puppies less than 2 weeks of age or weighing less than 0.5 kg. Do not use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age or weighing less than 0.5 kg. Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Use with caution in animals with compromised health or those underweight. |
| Dosage | Milpro® for Small Dogs and Puppies (2.5 mg milbemycin oxime / 25 mg praziquantel): Milpro® for Dogs (12.5 mg milbemycin oxime / 125 mg praziquantel): Milpro® for Small Cats and Kittens (4 mg milbemycin oxime / 10 mg praziquantel): Milpro® for Cats (16 mg milbemycin oxime / 40 mg praziquantel): Administer the tablet orally with or after food. Ensure accurate dosing by weighing the animal before administration. |
| Storage | Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package. |
