Bravecto® Dogs

Bravecto® contains the active ingredient fluralaner, an isoxazoline class compound that inhibits the nervous systems of fleas and ticks, leading to their death upon ingestion. It offers two primary formulations:

Chewable Tablet: A palatable chew providing 12 weeks of protection against fleas and most tick species.
Topical Solution: An easy-to-apply liquid administered to the dog’s skin, also delivering 12 weeks of protection.

Both formulations are designed for dogs aged 6 months and older.

Indications	Bravecto® is indicated for: -Flea Treatment and Prevention: Kills adult fleas and prevents flea infestations for 12 weeks. -Tick Treatment and Control: Effective against black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, and brown dog ticks for 12 weeks, and lone star ticks for 8 weeks.
Contraindications	-Not recommended for dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders, as isoxazoline class drugs have been associated with neurologic adverse reactions, including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. -Safety has not been established in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs. -Not suitable for puppies less than 6 months of age.
Dosage	Chewable Tablet: Administer orally with food once every 12 weeks. Dosage is based on body weight: 4.4–9.9 lbs: 112.5 mg 9.9–22 lbs: 250 mg 22–44 lbs: 500 mg 44–88 lbs: 1000 mg *88–123 lbs: 1400 mg For dogs over 123 lbs, use a combination of chews to achieve the appropriate dose.
Storage	-Store at room temperature between 59°F and 77°F (15°C and 25°C). -Protect from moisture and light. -Keep out of reach of children and pets.
