Revolution® is a colorless to yellow solution containing selamectin, an avermectin derivative. When applied to the skin, it is absorbed systemically to provide protection against multiple parasites. The product is available in single-dose tubes, with dosages tailored to the weight and species of the animal.

Indications

Dogs:

Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis).
Kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and prevents flea eggs from hatching.
Treatment and control of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations.
Treatment and control of sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei).
Control of American dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis) infestations.

Cats:

Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis).
Kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and prevents flea eggs from hatching.
Treatment and control of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations.
Treatment and control of roundworm (Toxocara cati) and hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) infections.
Contraindications

Do not use in animals allergic to selamectin or any other ingredient in the product.

Use with caution in sick, debilitated, or underweight animals.

Safety in pregnant or lactating animals has not been established; consult a veterinarian before use.
Dosage

Dogs:

Administer a single topical dose of 2.7 mg of selamectin per pound (6 mg/kg) of body weight once a month.
Available in various tube sizes corresponding to the dog's weight range.

Cats:

Administer a single topical dose of 2.7 mg of selamectin per pound (6 mg/kg) of body weight once a month.
Available in tube sizes appropriate for the cat's weight range.
Storage

Store below 30°C (86°F).

Keep in the original packaging to protect from light and moisture.

Keep out of reach of children and animals.
